Welcome!

The UCU Solidarity Movement is an informal network of UCU members, organised by ordinary activists, reps and branch officers. We believe that when members take action, whether over jobs, pay, health and safety, for free speech on campus, or defence of education, it is the responsibility of all activists to organise the maximum support and solidarity with those members.

We encourage reps to coordinate and organise horizontally, member-to-member, branch-to-branch, with the aim of building a stronger and more effective UCU.

We host a regular online organising meeting, open to all members, on Tuesdays at 6pm at https://bit.ly/UCUSM_org, we are active on X/Twitter at @ucu_solidarity, and we coordinate on WhatsApp.
